A: A full synopsis of the show can be found on our SYNOPSIS page. (coming soon)

A: No. We aim to entertain children by making them laugh not cry. We find that even Ursula the Wicked Sea Witch (eventually) has a kind heart.

Q: Is there any audience participation in the show?

A: Yes. Our shows often have interactive elements in them - THE LITTLE MERMAID includes Pirate Songs and Seas Shanties for everyone to enjoy.

Q: Should our Emirati children and parents have concerns with regards to the 'cultural' aspect of the story?

A: Our shows always teach a strong moral to our young audiences. The world-famous tale of THE LITTLE MERMAID is the story of Marina, a young mermaid who, after saving the life of a shipwrecked human prince, longs to leave her life under the sea and live in the human world. But once she’s there, she learns that the grass is not always greener on the other side. The story has been carefully adapted to ensure that mention of ‘Wizards’, ‘Witches’ and anything that may be  inappropriate to UAE audiences has been removed.

The costumes have all been designed with modesty and the UAE in mind.

Q: What about the recent changes to UAE licensing regulations? Will our school/venue be compliant?

A: Yes. We have been working closely with DTCM in Dubai and ADEC in Abu Dhabi to ensure that our production and the venues where it is performed is fully compliant with the latest regulations. Our associate company in the UAE will work with you to ensure that all paperwork and compliance issues are dealt with prior to the performance at your school.
